We will meet at the Lincoln Park Zoo @ 10am. Lincoln Park Zoo has free admission and is located off I-94 at the Fulllerton Parkway Exit. Afterwards- bring a picnic or grab lunch and bring it to the North Avenue Beach (1600 North Lakeshore Drive) for an afternoon of cooling off in Lake Michigan!
If you cannot make both places we will try to make it over to the beach by 1:00pm. The beach does have an eatery if you’d like to purchase food there. Also, it is my understanding that both places have pay parking lots. You may also be able to find free street parking however, it is at a premium. And of course you can reach downtown by public transportation- www.transitchicago.com
