University of Iowa Dance Marathon raised $1,058,658.16 for childhood cancer on February 5 and 6, 2010 at the Iowa Memorial Union in Iowa City, Iowa!  We had an amazing time and are thankful to all of the students who danced for 24 hours and to the volunteers and organizations/companies who donated food, activities, costumes, games, time, etc., etc., etc.

The first Rb event arranged by Jessica in St. Louis at the St. Louis Zoo turned out to be a success despite the weather’s attempt to interfere.  Three families attended and had a snack together while waiting for the rain to stop.  Then they ventured out to check out the zoo.  Eventually, the rain wouldn’t give up and they were forced to call it a day.  We hope to have another event within the next month.  Check back for more information!  Thanks to the families who braved the storm to attend the first Retinoblastoma Midwest event!!
